Foreigners who wish to enter Korea without a visa must apply for K-ETA at least 72 hours before departure.Please note that you will not be allowed to board the ship if your application is incomplete at the time of check-in.

※From 2023/4/1(Sat) to 2024/12/31(Tue), eligible nationals entering Korea are temporarily exempted from applying for K-ETA. However, this is limited to those entering Korea for a short-term stay of 90 days or less, such as for sightseeing, etc. Please click here for details.

Regarding the resumption of the Japan-Korea route (Fukuoka-Busan route) (updated April 28, 2023)

On Friday, November 4, 2022, QUEEN BEETLE will finally enter service on the Fukuoka-Busan route. As part of measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Japan-South Korea route has been suspended since March 9, 2020, but due to the recent relaxation of border measures, we have decided to resume operations. Please note that for the time being, certain conditions will apply when using it.

!!!Immigration rules are different from airports!!!
For the time being, certain conditions will apply, so we will respond as follows. The contents are subject to change without notice, so please check the latest immigration information before departure.

[Common to Japan and South Korea] (common to departing from Hakata and Busan)
Please note that you will not be allowed to board the ship if any of the following apply to you on the day of boarding, based on our terms of carriage and the border measures(quarantine measures) of each country.
①Those who are not feeling well, such as fever (37.5 degrees or higher), cough, or fatigue
②Those who are taking antipyretics, cold medicine, pain relievers, etc.
③Those who are in quarantine due to corona infection or who are in close contact

※If the person who corresponds to the above is on board, prolonged entry procedures may occur, resulting in cancellation of the next vessel. We ask for your understanding and cooperation

Immigration rules are limited to customers entering from Hakata Port.

【Arrivals through 4/28(Fri)】

Fast Track application through Visit Japan Web is required.

【Arrivals after 4/29(Sat)】

Visit Japan Web registration is not required.

・「Visit Japan WebIt is necessary to apply for Fast Track using the “Visit Japan Web”, and only those who have been pre-screened [blue screen] can board. When you check in at Busan Port and enter the country, you must present a “blue screen” (If you do not have a smartphone, please prepare a printed screen of the pre-registration completion screen).
※blue screen means, All pre-registration and review procedures have been completed.
Please select “Private Flight・Others” in the “Airline Name” field and leave the “Flight Number” field blank.

※From 12/26 (Mon), it is now possible to present a “blue screen” with a screenshot. Check here for more information on how to screenshot.

・Fast Track must be applied for at least 24 hours prior to check-in for departing from Busan.

※Deadlines are different at airports and seaports. Please note that the website of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (Quarantine) may only provide airport information.
※Since the screening process is expected to take some time, we recommend applying as soon as possible after making a reservation.

A valid vaccination certificate (3 doses) or a negative test certificate taken within 72 hours prior to departure is required for Fast Track applications.

*About accompanying children
In the following cases, the child’s certificate is not required, but all passengers entering the country must register for Fast Track. Select vaccine certificate test certificate and register to have a yellow screen. Please check here for details.
· Children under the age of 18 living together with a parent who has been vaccinated 3 times
· Children under the age of 6 (preschoolers) who live together and are accompanied by a parent who has a negative certificate
※Notes on certificates
· If the contents of the passport and the certificate (name notation, etc.) are different, in addition to the certificate, you will need to upload a document that can prove that you are the same person.
· Please see below for details of valid certificates, such as inspection methods and required items.

!!!Immigration conditions may differ from airports!!!

When you enter Korea, Busan Port does not support “Q-CODE”.
When you enter Japan, Hakata Port does not support “Immigration” and “Customs Declaration” on “Visit Japan Web”.
Only “Quarantine (Fast Track)” is supported and registration is mandatory.

[When entering Korea] (When boarding a departing from Hakata)
・Visa-exempt nationals, including Japan, must apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) at least 72 hours before departure.
Visa or K-ETA will be confirmed at check-in at Hakata Port.
In the case of K-ETA, please prepare the approval screen of the application result (a screen shot or a printout is fine, but the screen showing all passport information), and in the case of an electronic visa (a type that does not have a sticker attached to the passport), please prepare a printed “VISA GRANT NOTICE”.

・You will be required to submit a “Health Questionnaire (Paper)” for quarantine at Busan Port. Questionnaires will be distributed at Hakata Port and onboard.

Notice on Temporary exemption of K-ETA

(As of March 29, 2023)

Temporary exemption from obtaining a K-ETA is available only from Saturday, April 1, 2023 through Tuesday, December 31, 2024, if various conditions are met.
